Music to my heart!

August 22, 2008

For anyone who works in a Children’s Library or just loves visiting them, the scene above just spontaniously happened. Julie age 7 decided to read a book aloud and before she knew it she had a small crowd of 8 children listening in. Of course after the first book, Julie started to realize it can be hard to please a young crowd and to keep their attention, but to her credit she hung in there and finished to book, complete with showing the pictures.

Here’s to Julie – future Awesome Mom, Children’s Librarian or Teacher ! I know all the grown-ups watching were fascinated and proud of her, I was having an ” awwwwww , that’s so cute” moment. I just love it when kids read to kids.
